THE STORY SO FAR: With as many influences (from Thursday to At The Drive-In) as member changes (plenty), Lost In Prague have been grinding at the Minneapolis scene since 2003 with their furious progressive post-hardcore. "We fuse ambient, hardcore, experimental and punk," says guitarist Kyle Watts. "We take a little bit of our influences and write with a desire to create something fresh in the heavy music scene."
WHY YOU SHOULD KNOW 'EM: With their first full-length From The Ashes set for a March release, the five-piece (Watts, vocalist Jeremy Turek, guitarist Adam Olson, bassist Kade Kastelitz and drummer Tim Milligan) are poised for a big 2008-and that's saying a lot considering 2007 saw opening gigs for the likes of the Fall Of Troy and Throw The Fight. "The best description for what we have right now is 'a whirlwind of desire,'" says Watts. -Tim Karan
