HQ: Richmond, VA NOW PLAYING: Conditions EP THE STORY SO FAR: After the rise and fall of three Richmond, Virginia, bands (Scarlet, FIAD and Motion Picture Demise), vocalist Brandon Roundtree, guitarists Jason Marshall and Alex Howard, bassist Riley Emminger and drummer Ryan Tinsley came together. Howard says the five-piece decided to "reincarnate FIAD under a new name and make a fresh start." The result has yielded fast-paced, minor key rock, combining the dramatic arrangements and soaring vocals of Circa Survive and the urgency of early Thrice. WHY YOU SHOULD KNOW 'EM: Because it's getting more and more difficult not to. They had gigs on both last summer's Warped Tour and the Bamboozle.
