HQ: Chicago, IL NOW PLAYING: So Much Between Us THE STORY SO FAR: In May 2007, Chicago pop-punk/rock five-piece Inept decided to forget it all--not music, but everything else. "We decided to give it all up," says guitarist Kevin Singleton. "We quit our jobs and start touring full-time." Considering that they played their first show after forming in 2003 at the storied Metro and performed on Warped Tour and two Taste Of Chaos tours, they weren't exactly taking a shot in the dark. WHY YOU SHOULD KNOW 'EM: "Inept is a rock band with a sugar-coating of pop," says vocalist Anthony Lira. "We're a happy, good-time rock band with a down to earth message." Their positivity is front and center on their full-length and in Inept's love of playing out. "As much as we love to perform for our fans, we love for our fans to perform with us," says Singleton. These guys are AMAZING. I've seen them live several times and they are always great. They always take time to talk to the fans.
These guys are actually really good friends of mine. Their tunes are awesome, their stage presence is phenomenal, they love their fans... I highly recommend checking them out!! :]
