Since forming in 2010, This Is A Lifetime have done a little soul searching to determine exactly what kind of band they hope to be. After enduring a feeble attempt at pop punk and a number of member changes, TIAL finally established both a stable lineup and a melodic-hardcore sound that worked for them. “We all wanted to be a high-energy band people could go see live and walk away feeling satisfied,” says bassist Jeff Horton. Even though TIAL’s main goals are to travel, meet new people and have fun, they know those goals require hard work and dedication. Horton attests, “Pounding the pavement has, hands down, been one of the best techniques we have used to get our name out there.”
