Brighton, Colorado’s T-Shirts For Tomorrow began in 2008 as an acoustic duo, but quickly decided they wanted to emulate bands they listened to—namely, All Time Low and Mayday Parade. While they still consider themselves pop-punk, they don’t wanted to be limited by genres. “We have songs bordering on post-hardcore, involving breakdowns, and we have songs that are almost straight pop with sugar-coated dance beats,” says vocalist/guitarist Ethan Gilbert. “We never try to overstep into something that isn’t us.”
