Trying to make a name for yourself in the Big Apple isn’t easy, admits vocalist/guitarist Evan de Augustinis. “We got to where we are by working hard and playing as many shows as we possibly can,” he says. “Playing in NYC has to be the hardest place to get people to care about what you’re doing, but there’s no place cooler to be a part of.” Formed by de Augustinis in 2009 (largely thanks to Craigslist), the post-punk/alt-rock quartet have a simple aim: “To write songs that will make people feel good and to influence future generations.”
