Headquartered in the Channel Islands (located between the U.K. and France but belonging to neither), Brave Yesterday are now touring on their sophomore album, For The Sake Of Symmetry. But while their lead licks and driving drumbeats sound like booming alternative rock, guitarist/vocalist Craig Farrell says the band aren’t fond of the A-word. “We’ve been referred to as ‘alternative,’ which we prefer not to endorse,” he says. “It doesn’t really give a good indication of what to expect.” Fans can count on Brave Yesterday hitting the summer-festival circuit and recording their third full-length in 2012, however.
