Lane Terzieff (who records as Lancifer) started a hip-hop side project when he was 14, but returned to solo music after moving to Nashville and spending time in bands. His self-proclaimed “Ke$ha meets Justin Bieber meets Lil Wayne” style fits well with his ambitions; he wants a “No. 1 [song] on Top 40 radio and [to] change the world for Jesus Christ.” So far, so good: Lancifer’s single, “Top Of The World”—which boasts bubbly synths, dance beats and a pizza-party reference—is radio-ready.
