Although Align In Time (the alias of Washington, D.C., songwriter John Boles) formed in 2005, their first full-length—the instrumental, post-rock-driven "Me & My Arrow"—finally surfaced in December 2011. “There’s never been huge, ambitious goals for Align In Time,” he says. “It’s simply about writing music that’s meaningful to me and which resonates with my experiences and outlook on life.” Boles’ motivation hasn’t waned since Arrow’s release, however: He and friends plan to tour this summer.
