When their previous band Wolf At The Door went on hiatus, the members of Echoes felt what they had was too promising to just stop. “Brian [Woodruff, guitar/vocals], Henry [Gibson, vocals/bass] and myself decided we wanted to continue playing in any way we could,” says drummer/vocalist Gene Priest. “We knew we had a chemistry as a three-piece we could not ignore. We want to take the sounds we grew up with and expand upon them and put our own spin on some of our favorite music.” They also know—perhaps more wisely than some of their musical peers—that social media alone isn’t going to take them where they want to go. “We know the importance of spreading your music and your name not only through social networking but touring, as well.” --Cassie Whitt
