Prior to the formation of the band, one would have found members of Save Ends rolling 20-sided dice and talking wizards and orcs in a basement together rather than “shredding” in one. “The band officially started in the summer of 2010,” says guitarist Tom Ciesluk. “For a few years prior to that, however, we had all been playing Dungeons & Dragons together.” It didn’t take long for the Holliston, Massachusetts, nerds’ musical interests to meld, and then, according to Ciesluk, “rock ensued,” with dual-vocalists, piano and “nerd-centric lyrical content.” The band hope to release a full-length LP by the end of this year.
