Friendship permeates self-proclaimed “aggressive pop-punk” band Coming Clean, from their 2011 formation to the friends they’ve made playing, according to bassist Matty Accisano, “in bars, basements, fire halls, backyards, colleges, coffee houses, warehouses, and plenty of other random places” to the title of their upcoming full-length Drive Safe, Sing Loud, which is inspired by a phrase their friends use. “We got together because we all share a love for music. We were all friends beforehand except Brandon [Rosenberg, vocalist], but he fit in perfectly,” says Accisano, who learned bass solely to join the band. Coming Clean recently finished their Sing Loud EP, a companion to their Drive Safe EP.
