In 2009, Cleveland, Ohio, native Dan Miraldi was a solo act, but in 2010 he started performing with a full band, finding one member through Bandmix.com, which he describes as “like the online-dating site for bands.” Miraldi and his band play “straight up rock ’n’ roll,” and their vintage appeal mixed with a modern edge has gained him notoriety outside of the country. Becoming a finalist in 2010 for “Best Rock Song” in the international John Lennon Songwriting Competition allowed Miraldi to reach out and book a large-scale tour the following year. Currently you can find him on tour in the Midwest and East promoting his latest record, Sugar & Adrenaline.
