Three friends from Xenia, Ohio, got together in 2010 and formed pop-rock outfit the Glory Game. “We sat down one evening and started putting chords, beats and lyrics together,” says drummer Justin Cyr, “creating what eventually came to be our first EP.” In mid-July, the band embarked on a tour of the southern U.S. in an effort to—in the words of Man Overboard—defend pop punk. “We have developed a large fan base by sticking to the sound we love,” says Cyr. “We won't change it for anything or anyone.”
