Scott Lewis of Carnifex stopped by APTV to talk about the current state of their genre, the band’s recent release and more. The deathcore vocalist discusses some of the taunts the band received on the Summer Slaughter tour, including being compared to Black Veil Brides. “It doesn’t even make sense, but that’s all they got,” jokes Lewis. He comments on the dark lyricism found in Slow Death and where he draws inspiration from to write such personal lyrics. Find out which track he suggests fans start with from Slow Death, which came out this August.  The band are heading out on a headlining tour with Despised IconFallajuh, Rings of Saturn, Lorna Shore and She Must Burn next February.
