Carrie Jo Tucker has been writing since she was old enough to scribble with a crayon.  Her earliest work focused on horses, unicorns and man-eating hazardous waste, but she's since expanded her subject matter, and served as the former contributing style editor for Alternative Press magazine, author of I Love Geeks: the Official Handbook (Adams Media), and a contributing writer for Filter magazine and publications such as Vice. Tucker lives in Brooklyn with her French bulldog Walter Cronkite, and enjoys Death Note, Deth Killers, death metal and shoes with heels high enough to potentially cause death.
