Position: Web Intern

So, probably like millions of other music lovers and musicians across the country, it all started with Blink-182. Sitting in my room late one night I happened to stumble upon a clip of The Urethra Chronicles. That day marked the beginning of my desperate love affair with Blink and basically all things music. Since then I have spent a good bulk of my free time collecting, listening to and watching anything to do with Tom, Mark and Travis. This obsession with one band has inspired me to be part of a world surrounded by music. Somehow, the people on the board of KLC Radio at Lewis and Clark College (where I'll be a Junior next year) liked me enough (or were just annoyed by my constant requests) to make me Promotions director of the station. This made me finally feel ready to apply for the intern position at AP. So for 6 months, undeterred by unreturned emails and phone calls, I continued to pester Eddie Fleisher from AP to give me the job as web editor Tim Karan's intern, and here I am! Helping (hopefully) to make altpress.com bigger than guns, bigger than cigarettes.
