there are too many love/hates in this again D=
I disappointed that I renewed my subscription through the year. I miss features about bands that I care about, and that had the talent to back up the buzz surrounding them.
Coug: Love to see your list. Why not show it to me by sending it to editorial@altpress.com with the title "Coug sez" in the subject line. See you soon.--Jason Pettigrew
i never got this issue, hm... weird. but it's cool that bayside, chiodos and craig owens were runners up alot of time. my favorites are somehow always in these at the end of the year (:
Twilight? Wow. Fight Club and Perks should've beat that out.
For who said they didn't like Forever The Sickest Kids name; I met them in November at my school(honestly they came to my school for a Q&A inter view assembly) they did not come up with the name, a cop said it to them and it stuck. so yeah, now you know something about one of the most amazing bands ever.
Travis Barker surviving that plane crash is a sign that Blink 182 must reunite!
Travis Barker surviving that plane crash is a sign from above that Blink 182 must reunite!
how panic at the disco made most dissappointing album (2) and album of the year (4) i will neva know... but yea another sign is the re-release of their rabbit shirt there was another, just cant remember it at the moment
It may be a fan list, but I still can't help but cringe every time I glance at 2008's 'band of the year' cover. It's bad enough the foursome act like a bunch of college frat rejects, but I saw them on the AP Tour. Their sound is average and their performance forgettable. Really guys...ranking them at the top is dropping fan credibility to an all time low.
A My Chem-free readers' poll, congrats AP. I know I'm not the only one who's sick of them. But, Twilight? Really?
Hey! I'm in the thing! SCHWEET! Oh...wait a second...FEAR BEFORE IS NOWHERE TO FOUND! Its only pop bands! ew... By the way, I have seen TDWP live and I have seen Chiodos live and let me tell you what. Not that I don't like those bands, but NO band (xecpt maybe fall of troy) can compare to foxy shazam live. It was like a fairy tale. BTW, when Chiodos played The words best... I could barely even hear the riff in the beginning! And that one riff is the reason I even began liking that band in the first place!
