Touring is ruling life right now! As I write this, we have a day off and we're driving out towards Charlotte, North Carolina. I'm super stoked on this show at AMOS's because a lot of my friends are coming out from my home town in SC! August Burns Red have about two more weeks of our headlining tour and then after that, we fly out to Europe to hang out with our buds in A Day To Remember and Bring Me The Horizon! I'm pretty sure that's going to be a good time. Then we come home to a U.S. tour with Underoath and Emery. So pretty much the fun doesn't stop! Then I get a little break from the road to relax in my brand spanking "new to me" house in South Carolina! I never thought i'd buy a house at the age of 24, but i've been blessed with a nice two-story, three-bedroom house on a cul-de-sac about six miles from my mum's house.

I've got two of my close buddies, Chris and John, holding down the fort while I live life on the road, along with a killer dog named Macy! SHE'S A PIT!! AAHHHHH a KILLER DOG!!



It's kind of annoying that so many people brush the bully breeds aside. It's not their fault that gang-bangers like to abuse them and throw them in pit fights. I do have a passion for that breed, but I'm not gonna sit here and talk your ear off about how amazing they are; how they're loyal, intelligent and protective to their masters and family members. And I won't mention how much fun they are when you've got a good backyard to play catch. Basically they rule and you should get one. Macy is two years-old and I actually got her for my 24th birthday. We went to a shelter down the street from my house just with the intent of looking i came across lil' Macy.

She waltzed up to me with scars over her face, ears, and legs and a huge, pink ring around her neck. Hairless and obviously raw to the touch, she had been abused for certain. It pisses me off that people have the audacity to abuse an animal, but to abuse one that is less than a year old? You've got to be a young, childish boy who has no self-worth so you take out your issues on a helpless dog. Great job, guy. If I run into pit fighters, I'm sure I wouldn't use words to get my point across.



Either way, I don't know her complete history, but I do know that now she is with me she's in good hands. So if you're thinking of getting a man's best friend, I highly recommend an American Staffordshire Terrier, or an American Pit Bull Terrier. And get it at a shelter. There are so many bully breeds that need homes and need a good place to rest their head. Why spend $2,000 for a purebred APBT that someone else is going to buy when you've got mix bully's at the shelter who people are less likely to get. And they're only about $150!

Cant believe i ran into this post. Me and some friends actually found a pitbull puppy the other day (about 6 weeks) that was abandoned. No one wanted her because she was a Pit. and my mom just didnt want another dog since im moving out soon. But we decided to keep her. She is almost 10 weeks now and she is very healthy. I named her Autumn. Id post a picture if i could. I was recently at my bands practice and i saw a lady walking with like 5 dogs and one of them looked identical to Autumn. (we found the puppy in this neighborhood). So i asked her if that dog was hers, she told me that she had found it the morning after we found Autumn.

She also told me about how she found the owner of the puppies and he said that he had stole them from a guy who was breeding Pits to fight. but he couldnt keep them so he dumped them in some woods. I just cant believe that people have the nerve to fight dogs. It pisses me off that you can take such a loving animal and turn it into a vicious killer just for your pleasure and enjoyment. Thats a picture of her. if you click it, it should work. But anyways thats my story. I love her to death she gets along great with everyoen so far. and every dog she has come across she likes alot. Everyone save a pit. Plus i love August Burns Red. Favorite band
