March 15 2017, 11:10 AM EDT By Caitlyn Ralph

Say hello to Sadistik: a new name emerging in alternative hip-hop.

The rapper hails from Seattle, WA, but he has made roots in Los Angeles. Today, Sadistik is premiering the first taste of his forthcoming album, Altars, which releases April 14 via Equal Vision Records.

Watch haunting video for "Free Spirits" below.

"I've had this dreamscape in my head for a while now," Sadistik says. "I'm ready for people to get lost in it."

The eye-catching video was directed by Tim Jensen and Sadistik himself.

You can catch Sadistik on tour this April and May with Nacho Picasso and Rafael Vigilantics. Find tickets here, and pre-order Altars here.
