Boston Manor (Pure Noise Records) mature pop-punk on “Gone” (exclusive)

November 04 2015, 12:00 PM EST By Tyler Sharp

The U.K.’s Boston Manor are teaming up with AltPress for a premiere of their latest single, “Gone.” Much like a fine wine, the track takes pop-punk’s common mold and matures it in all the right ways. Give “Gone” a spin below and be sure to leave us a comment with your thoughts.

“‘Gone’ is pretty self explanatory,” says vocalist Henry Cox. “It's about the hardships we endure to remain close to the people we love whilst we're away. Being away a lot means we unfortunately have to be selfish sometimes. Absence sharpens love, presence strengthens it."

The song is extracted from Boston Manor’s upcoming EP, Saudade, which is due out November 20 via Pure Noise Records. (Pre-orders are on sale now.)
