"It feels like everything is becoming completely plastic and contrived lately. From cosmetic adjustments like Botox to technological 'fixes' like Photoshop, Auto-Tune, etc., there's this implication that to be accepted you have to be anything but yourself. That's way too much pressure. I think most people are pretty kickass just as they are, and removing that pressure would probably lead to a much happier life. 'Hey Superstar' is a sentiment to the 'perfect' people that the rest of us are just fine, thanks."
