Motionless In White debut the new song "London In Terror" exclusively on Altpress. The song comes from the band's upcoming full-length, Creatures, which drops Oct. 12 on Fearless.
Frontman Chris Motionless told us, "'London In Terror' is my song about Jack The Ripper, and all the insanity that went on during all of his murders. I've always wanted to know why he actually did what he did, since it was never mentioned in any of the letters he wrote. I took lyrics that I would normally write as myself, and applied them to his character to create more of a story, and give it some depth. I just liked the whole idea of there being so much chaos during all of his 'work.' I tried to make things even more dramatic in the story by giving an overall 'Armageddon-ish' feel to the lyrics to make it seem like not just the murders were happening... but all of London was falling apart. I really love expanding on stories and adding my own spin on them by adding a personal emotional background to these characters. That way, people are still reading MY lyrics and can relate to things I'm saying because they still maintain that honesty that I write with... but now they also have a movie they can build in their minds, to make things more visual."
