Fairweather snapped back into the writing process more than ten years after their previous full-length, 2003's Lusitania, with ease and with the song you are about to hear, "Doubt The Doubtless."
"We had all been talking about writing a new record and what it might sound like, but I don't think any of us really knew what we were going to get," guitarist Peter Tsouras says of beginning the creative process. "'Doubt The Doubtless' came together at what was supposed to be the first rehearsal for the reunion show. The second we plugged in we started working on it and pretty much forgot to rehearse any old songs. It felt amazing to be writing together as Fairweather again and I think that feeling is really captured in the song. It feels so much like us."
Stream it below and tell us what you think. Fairweather is set for release April 1 via Equal Vision Records, and the band will be playing a special C.D. release show in DC on March 29.
