Song Premiere: Some Stranger (ex-Daytrader vocalist), “Points East”

We're thrilled to premiere the first single from Boston's Some Stranger, the new project from former Daytrader frontman Tym and acclaimed visual artist Daniel Danger.

Of the group's fleeting formation, Tym said that "Immediately following the demise of Daytrader, my longtime friend and collaborator Daniel Danger suggested (half-jokingly) we start a band. He sent me a couple of tracks he had been working on instrumentally and I was blown away. Within 48 hours we had two songs completely done. Though we lived only a few miles away from each other, we ended up writing almost everything by sending logic files back and forth via e-mail. After a month or so we decided to enter the studio and record an EP's worth of what we had been working on. We're very happy with the output."

The band's self-titled debut EP will be released in the spring. Until then, you can listen to "Points East" exclusively on AP.
