The 10 Most Watched Videos of 2010

Take a look back at the 10 most watched videos that premiered on Altpress.com in 2010.

10. I SEE STARS “Your Love” (acoustic)

Back before they were signed on to be a part of this spring’s AP Tour, I See Stars gave us this sweet video. It features the band performing an acoustic rendition of the Outfield’s “Your Love.” The full-band cover appeared on the Fearless compilation Punk Goes Classic Rock.

9. WE ARE THE IN CROWD “Both Sides Of The Story”
We Are The In Crowd take a jab at social networking in their video for “Both Sides Of The Story,” which premiered on Altpress in October.

8. BEHIND THE SCENES OF SOMETHING CORPORATE’S COVER SHOOT
When we heard that Something Corporate would be getting back together for the first time since they went on hiatus in 2006, it was a no-brainer to put the piano-pop outfit on the cover of AP 266. In this video, we documented the zaniness that went on as they posed for the shoot.

7. TIMES OF GRACE “Strength In Numbers”
Reuniting Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz with the band’s original vocalist, Jesse Leach, Times Of Grace are set to release their debut full-length in January. They premiered their video for “Strength In Numbers” exclusively on Altpress.

6. THE AP SESSIONS: THE MAINE
The Maine were the second band to participate in our new series The AP Sessions, featuring bands performing onstage at the empty Agora Theater in Cleveland. Watch the guys from the moment they enter the building for a candid look at the band.

5. THE AP SESSIONS: ESCAPE THE FATE
Shortly before bassist Max Green entered rehab, Escape The Fate stopped through Cleveland and performed two songs for The AP Sessions including “Massacre” and “Issues.”

4. NEVER SHOUT NEVER “Sellout”
Before he was voted Artist Of The Year in the 2010 AP Readers Poll, Christofer Drew was a sellout—at least in this Never Shout Never video that debuted exclusively on Altpress.

3. THE LAST TIME I REALLY EMBARASSED MY PARENTS…
Instead of asking the same old questions when the Bamboozle Roadshow stopped through town, we sent out a few of our editors to find out the last time some of the artists really embarrassed their parents. Check out a cameo by a half-naked Alex Gaskarth.

2. THE AP SESSIONS: A DAY TO REMEMBER
A Day To Remember were the first band to sign on for The AP Sessions and the premiere installment of the series blew up our site over the summer. Fans clamored to see Jeremy McKinnon and the gang play a set that nobody could buy a ticket to see.

1. THE AP SESSIONS LIVE: PARAMORE
Everything seemed fine in the world of Paramore when they stopped by the AP Skyscraper during the summer to perform an intimate set for one of our 25th Anniversary Fan Appreciation shows. The video from the set—featuring Hayley Williams alongside recently departed Josh Farro—was our biggest video of the year.
