AP EXCLUSIVE: MXPX OFFICIALLY BACK ON TOOTH & NAIL, SAYS GUITARIST

When we first brought you news of long-running pop-punk trio MxPx leaving SideOneDummy and re-signing with Tooth & Nail -- the band's original record label from 1994-1996 -- way back in November, the story was greeted with much skepticism from many readers of both altpress.com and other internet punk news websites.
And while we hate to say we told you so, AP head Mike Shea spoke with MxPx guitarist Tom Wisniewski earlier today who confirmed that the ink had officially dried on their new contracts with Tooth & Nail, and the band were once again a part of their stable of artists. Wisniewski also told AP to expect an official announcement within a week regarding the label switch. The band will release their new studio album on Tooth & Nail this summer.
