Three Mile Pilot sign to Touch And Go, recording new album
Alternative Press - Scott Heisel on 4/25/06 @ 8:17 PM - altpress.com
The disc, slated for a 2007 release, will be the proper follow-up to 1997's Cargo-released Another Desert, Another Sea. Since then, the band released a B-sides/rarities double CD, Songs From An Old Town We Once Knew, in 2000. The band have returned to their original three-piece lineup for the new album, as well: Zach Smith (Pinback) on bass and vocals, Pall Jenkins (Black Heart Procession) on vocals and guitar and Tom Zinser on drums.
Fans of Pinback and BHP needn't be worried, however; neither band are coming to a close. In fact, Smith also informed Pitchfork that he and Pinback co-songwriter Rob Crowe will begin work on their new album after completing their current tour. BHP also have their new album, The Spell, coming out May 9 via T&G.
