PLUTO RECORDS SIGN MY AMERICAPosted by Ben Sailer on 20-Mar-08 @ 07:12 PM
Texas hardcore/metal label Pluto Records have signed the experimental hardcore act My America. The band, who hail from Newark, Delaware, posted this message on their MySpace blog: We are proud not only to announce that it is the first day of the spring season (on our northern hemisphere), but that we also have signed with Texas-based label PLUTO RECORDS who have released tons of great records by bands like the Jonbenet, HORSE the Band, the Deadly and many others. We will be releasing our upcoming debut full-length STONE AGE, the follow-up to the 2006 EP NARRATIVES, on said label and as of now it is scheduled for a mid-Summer release. The album is going to be produced and engineered by Louisville's own Chris Owens of the band Lords (Jade Tree). His resume includes Young Widows, Coliseum, Engineer- need I go on? The album will be tracked in April and feature 10 brand new jams that will rip your face off, allowing us to use it to wipe our collective ass. You can read the rest of the post, as well as check out some songs from the band, on their MySpace page here. [ |
