Fueled By Ramen pop outfit Cute Is What We Aim For have revealed the dates for their summer headlining tour with Ace Enders And A Million Different People, Danger Radio and Powerspace. Pre-order tickets will be available to fan club members at noon (local time) May 14 here, with general on-sale beginning May 9. The band will be in support of their upcoming sophomore full-length, Rotation, which will be released June 24.

RISE RECORDS PICK UP THE YEARS GONE BY

Freehold, New Jersey pop-punks The Years Gone By have found themselves a place on the rapidly expanding Rise Records roster. The band posted this on their MySpace blog about the deal:

Hey everyone! Nick here. Before I tell you all the great news, on behalf of THE YEARS GONE BY, I want to thank you all for supporting our band these past few years. Whether it was buying our CD, coming out to a show or just taking time to say hello to us, we really appreciate everything and everyone we have met.

We are currently living in an apartment, in Goshen New York, recording our new 12 song full length CD. The tentative name of the LP is titled "FOREVER COMES TOO SOON" and we will have more info and a release date in the coming weeks. Sorry about not having any studio updates...internet here is non-existant. We, however, have been taking lots of video and have plenty of footage so when we're home you can expect some updates on what we have accomplished in the past month.

Now the good stuff...

We are pleased to announce that we have chosen a label who believes in our band as much as we do. We have signed to Rise Records and couldn't be more excited for what the future has in store for us.

THESE ARMS ARE SNAKES SIGN TO SUICIDE SQUEEZE

Seattle-based art-thrashers These Arms Are Snakes have signed to Suicide Squeeze Records and will begin work this week on a new full-length to be released Oct. 7. Drummer/prouducer Chris Common (Minus The Bear, Mouth Of The Architect) will helm the follow-up to 2006's Easter.

NINE INCH NAILS OFFER NEW ALBUM FOR FREE, ANNOUNCE TOUR

It's a big day for Reznor-related news. Nine Inch Nails chairman Trent Reznor has released yet another album online (following up Ghosts I-IV, which was released this past February), exclusively at the band's website. The Slip is being offered as a free download in multiple formats, including 10 tracks, artwork and credits. Vinyl and CD copies will be available in July.

Pre-sale tickets will be personalized with the member's legal name printed on the face of the ticket and an ID will be required for pickup and entry into the venue on the night of the show.
