Oh, Sleeper announce single details

Texas metalcore unit Oh Sleeper announced via a recent interview that the first two singles from their upcoming album Son Of The Morning will be the title track "Son Of The Morning" and the last track entitled "The Finisher." The videos will be filmed in one stretch today in Georgia and will be "sequel videos" according to vocalist Micah Kinard. The band will be hitting the road this fall with Bring Me The Horizon and Every Time I Die. Son Of The Morning hits stores on August 25 via Solid State.

Circa Survive sign to Atlantic, prepare next album

Circa Survive have announced on their website that they have finished their contract with Equal Vision Records and signed to Atlantic Records for their upcoming third full-length. The band will be recording with David Bottrill. Below is the band's message from their website:

Greetings everyone! We have wonderful news to share with you. After almost a year of writing, we have begun working on our third record in Toronto, ON. David Bottrill, who has made amazing albums with bands like Tool, King Crimson, Silverchair and Moneen, is producing. We couldn't be more excited to be working with him and the songs are turning out beautifully. This is the most time we've ever spent on writing an album and possibly the hardest we've ever worked on anything as a band. We can't wait to share this music with you. It feels like it will be so soon now. After completing our contract with Equal Vision we embarked on a long search to find our next home. We met with lots of labels and decided that Atlantic Records is the best place for us to continue our growth as a band and to help us release our music around the world. Because this is a big step we feel the need to reassure you that we are and always will be the same band no matter what label we are on. We are so grateful for everything Equal Vision has done for us and having their blessing in this next step couldn't mean more. Our friendship/relationship with them is strong and will continue to be so.

Over the next couple of months we will be updating our websites with videos and pictures from the studio to let you in on some of the recording process. As we do so we invite you all to take this journey with us. We can't wait to be back out on the road playing these songs for all of you.

Rookie Of The Year post new song

If you've been wondering what Rookie Of The Year have been up to since they wrapped up their recent tour, wonder no more. The band has posted a fresh new song on their MySpace called "When Our Fingers Touch" and have given the fans an update, which you can see below.

So here it is!! "When Our Fingers Touch", a brand new song for you guys and girls!! We weren't planning on posting any of our new music up yet but we decided that since we are going to be testing this song out live on our headline tour we should give you all something new! This song is still in demo form and was recorded at the lovely Pearl Sound Studios with our amazing producer pal, Chuck Alkazian. You may see this song on an upcoming EP or it may even be on our new record when that drops. It's exciting times for us over here, we are an unsigned band for the first time ever and we have a crazy amount of new material that will EVEN please all of you "The Goodnight Moon" fans and maybe even win over your friends too. Cobra Starship announce tour openers

Dance-pop superstars Cobra Starship announced awhile back that they'd be hitting the road this month to tour with the Friday Night Boys and The Plasticines. Unfortunately, the latter had to drop off the tour, but don't worry, an equally-awesome band has taken up the slack. Gabe Saporta of Cobra Starship announced via his blog that due to popular demand, The Audition will be joining them as the new tour opener.
