Jack's Mannequin have released the video for "Swim". This is the second track lifted of the band's 2008 Sire Records release, The Glass Passenger.

The Academy Is... to co-headline the AP Tour Fall Ball

Chicago's pop-rock princes the Academy Is... have been confirmed as the fourth act and one of two co-headliners on this fall's AP Tour, which has been dubbed the Fall Ball. TAI will join Bay Area pop-hardcore sextet Set Your Goals, Dallas-based electro-pop act the Secret Handshake and U.K. sensations You Me At Six on the tour, which will traverse North America from late September to late November. You can watch a video of TAI's William Beckett and Adam Siska announcing their participation in the Fall Ball below.

Get tickets to the Warped Tour 15th anniversary movie event

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Vans Warped Tour, the punk rock summer camp will be holding a massive party September 6 in Los Angeles featuring performances from the likes of Blink-182, Underoath, 3OH!3, Rise Against, the All-American Rejects, Katy Perry and more. Eleven days after the event, a movie featuring performances from the event will screen for one night only at more than 450 theaters nationwide.

The Academy Is..., John Mayer collaborate with Demi Lovato

Disney princess Demi Lovato collaborated with The Academy Is... front man William Beckett and guitar-slinging songwriter John Mayer on her latest album, Here We Go Again. The album hits stores today. Lovato had the following to say about the collaborations:

"I wrote a song called 'For the Love of a Daughter' with William Beckett from The Academy Is," she told MTV News. "Totally wasn't planning on writing a song that deep or anything, but we just got together had a really long talk and then spit out this song."

"I actually wrote two songs with John Mayer, one of which will make the album ['World of Chances'] ... it's a really cool song," she said. "It's the first song we wrote together, and working with him was incredible. It was a pipe dream. I didn't even think it would ever come true, 'cause he's just awesome. He's John Mayer."
