The track comes from 2007's II on Ferret, which the band is currently supporting on tour with A Static Lullaby, Showbread, Confide and Attack! Attack!.

Fall Out Boy keep the hype train rolling for Folie À Deux with the announcement that they will be attempting a Guinness World Record for most radio interviews by two people in the span of 24 hours.
Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump will make the attempt on Halloween, commencing at 3:00 A.M. PST at Premiere Studios in L.A. The current record is 57. The band releases Folie À Deux December 16th. |

Taking Back Sunday have nearly completed the recording of their fourth full-length, according to new guitarist/vocalist Matt Fazzi in a MySpace blog posting.
The band is about to start the final mixing stages for the album, which is slated for a 2009 release on Warner Bros. Records. TBS last released Louder Now in 2006 with former guitarist/vocalist Fred Mascherino, who went on to form the Color Fred. The band will embark on a tour in December with Envy On The Coast. |

Circa Survive have provided an update as they continue to write for their third full-length.
It looks like the band have eight songs written, with frontman Anthony Green even getting involved in guitar activities. Guitarist Colin Fragnicetto writes (verbatim): "its about 3 weeks into writing now and progress is happening. we've worked through around 8 songs. almost like a traffic jam... there are literally dozens of ideas patiently waiting their turn. a few days ago we began recording demo versions of the tunes and are laying down tracks on the daily. someone recently asked what the raw demos are like.... well im not one to give away too much but i will say our growth is evident in every note and rhythm i hear. random things to note... *4-5 part vocal harmonies are very cool. *Casio Rapmaster Keyboard - has some neat sounds. *Anthony playing guitar with us... ummm heck yeah. *Squirrels talking smack through the window while we write... weird." The band last released On Letting Go on Equal Vision in 2007, announcing their free agency this past August. Green released his solo debut, Avalon, on Photo Finish earlier this year as well. |

Long-running vocal-shattering UK punks Leatherface have announced a rare U.S. tour for early November. The week-long swing will find them accompanied by Tiltwheel and Former Cell Mates. It also includes an appearance at The Fest.
Granted, these dates seem less rare when noticing the band toured here this past May. The highly influential act's last studio album was 2004's Dog Disco on BYO, though they also released the Boat In The Smoke live DVD on Punkervision. The Hush Sound has announced the amicable departure of bassist Chris Faller.
"Don't worry, everything's fine, we're all still good friends. He wants to pursue and explore other areas of music, and will be getting his feet wet with recording bands in the Chicagoland area. He's a super talented musician, and we wish him the best. For now, our friend Mike will be picking up the bass torch. Say hi to him on this tour and make him feel welcome." The band released Goodbye Blues earlier this year on Decaydance / Fueled By Ramen. |
