Cobra Starship added to Salt Lake City stop of Warped Tour

Alternative Press - Scott Heisel on 7/21/09 @ 4:30 PM - altpress.com

Dance-pop provocateurs Cobra Starship have been added to the August 8 stop of this summer's Warped Tour in Salt Lake City, Utah. A statement from the band is below:

"I don't know if you guys read on FBR_Trash yet but, apparently, we are playing Warped Tour SALT LAKE CITY!!!?

I know what your thinking, "THATS NOT FAIR!! Why just SLC??"?

In the words of the late, great TUPAC, "That's just the way it is"?

I don't know why just SLC, but why not??

And due to our tour and scheduling, it's the only one we can do so let's make the best of it! ?It's gonna be like a family reunion going back to Warped for one day after the best summer ever on last years Warped."

The Warped date will fall in the midst of the band's headlining tour with the Plastiscines and the Friday Night Boys (dates); there's no word on if those bands will also be added to Warped that date.
