Tegan And Sara have announced details to their follow-up to The Con. The new album will be called Sainthood and will hit stores on October 27. Check out an update about the album from the sisters below.

Unearth guitarist to sub for Lamb of God's Morton toward end of Euro tour

Buz McGrath, the guitarist for thrash-metal band Unearth, will step in for Lamb of God's ax wielder, Mark Morton, on the last six stops of the band's European tour. Morton will be return to Richmond, Virginia for the birth of his first child. You can check out the rest of Lamb of God's European dates below:

The Germs to release new material

For the first time in almost 30 years, punk pioneers The Germs are releasing new material. Drummer Don Bolles revealed details in an interview with Riot Fest, which you can read here. The band plan on releasing "old new material" and a box set.

Boston socio-political trio State Radio have revealed details of their upcoming album on Ruff Shod, as well as dates for their fall tour. Let It Go will be released on Sept. 29. Hear new track, "Knights Of Bostonia, on the band's MySpace page.

If you've been keeping up with Modest Mouse's recent trend of vinyl releases, you'll be excited to hear that the band is at it again.
