Atreyu get "epic" with new song

Alternative metal unit Atreyu have posted a Twitter update regarding a new song. A track with the working title of "Spain" is one of the songs from the band's upcoming album, which has yet to have a title or release date. Apparently, the band is very pleased with how the song is turning out.

Trailer for new Scorsese thriller, 'Shutter Island,' posted

Watch the trailer for Martin Scorsese's new film, Shutter Island. The movie stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Ruffalo as two U.S. marshalls sent to an island to investigate the disappearance of a murderer from a mental hospital. The film is set to hit theaters Oct. 2.

The Get Up Kids announce reunion tour dates

As frontman Matt Pryor had previously suggested they would, beloved emo legends The Get Up Kids will be embarking on a reunion tour this fall.

Sonic Youth stream new album

It's their 16th album to date, and as celebration, Sonic Youth are offering a free stream of The Eternal up on their website. The album hit stores yesterday via Matador.
