Mute Math announce fall 'Armistice' tour

Mute Math will kick off their fall tour on Sept. 22 in Cincinnati after several summer festival dates. The tour will support the band's second full-length, Armistice, which is dropping Aug. 18 on Teleprompt/Warner Bros.

Tragic Hero Records sign Kelsey And The Chaos

One of AP's 100 Bands You Need To Know In '09 have scored a record deal. New York's Kelsey And The Chaos have signed to Tragic Hero Records. The band will release an EP entitled Shut Up And Deal on their new label on July 28.

Bonnaroo last US show for Nine Inch Nails

Trent Reznor, front man and only permanent member of legendary industrial act Nine Inch Nails, announced on Saturday during the band's set at Bonnaroo that it would be Nine Inch Nails' final performance in the United States. The Associated Press reported that Reznor said the following:

"It just dawned on me that this is our last show ever in the United States. Don't be sad. I'll keep going. But I think I'm going to lose my ... mind if I keep doing this, and I have to stop."

Nine Inch Nails still have a slew of overseas tour dates set to wrap up this August.

John Nolan releases fan collaboration track

John Nolan, front man for Straylight Run, has released the first in a series of collaborative tracks in his solo career. Nolan invited fans to send him music to write lyrics to, and he's obviously been happy with the results. Check out the first song entitled "This Is How" on Nolan's MySpace. The track comes from fan Cody Moser, who is in a band called The Analog Affair.
