Spoon to release new album in January

Indie four-piece Spoon have announced that their upcoming full-length, Transference, will be released on Jan. 26 via Merge Records. The 11-track, self-produced full-length is the band's first album since 2007's Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga. Spoon will be playing a one-off New Year's Eve show with Jay Reatard at the Riverside Theater in Milwaukee.

Trailer Released for Angels & Airwaves' LOVE Movie

In the description on iTunes, LOVE is described as "A high-impact visual adventure, that resonates a common truth, that everyone has a story to tell and something even greater to leave behind".
The movie is inspired by Angels & Airwaves' album of the same name and will be released on February 14, 2010.

Where's The Band? Tour to hit the west coast in January

The Where's The Band? Tour--featuring solo acoustic performances by Dustin Kensrue of Thrice, Matt Pryor of the Get Up Kids, Chris Conley of Saves The Day and Anthony Raneri of Bayside--will play a handful of California dates early next year. The inaugural tour, which kicked off this past January, included 10 dates in the Midwest. A limited number of pre-sale tickets will be available on Nov. 5 with public on-sale beginning Nov. 12. Them Crooked Vultures announce release date

Them Crooked Vultures, the supergroup featuring Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters, Josh Homme of Queens Of The Stone Age and John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin, have confirmed that their self-titled debut album will drop Nov. 17 on DGC/Interscope. The song "New Fang" will be the first single from the self-produced 13-song album. Check out the teaser video below.

The first round of confirmed artists for the second annual Harvest Of Hope Festival has been released. Taking place March 12-14, 2010, at the St. John's County Fairgrounds in St. Augustine, Florida, HOH's lineup will feature Leatherface, Anti-Flag, Torche, Small Brown Bike, Dead To Me, Andrew Jackson Jihad, Cobra Skulls and more. The current list of confirmed acts are below; festival organizers promise over 100 bands in total.

New Found Glory announce anniversary tour with Saves The Day

Hot on the heels of the news that Dashboard Confessional had canceled the tour that New Found Glory were to join them on, NFG guitarist Chad Gilbert revealed that the band have plans up their sleeve. New Found Glory will celebrate the tenth anniversary of their self-titled album with a tour along with Saves The Day. No dates have been revealed yet, but we'll keep you posted when they do.
