Every Time I Die team up with Matt Caughthran of The Bronx

Alternative Press - Laila Hanson on 6/12/09 @ 5:43 PM - altpress.com

Every Time I Die are keeping busy lately. Not only is frontman Keith Buckley kind of working for us and unleashing personal drawings on their artwork for their upcoming Epitaph debut album, New Junk Aesthetic, but they're also enlisting the help of a friend or two for some track collaborations. Matt Caughthran of The Bronx stopped by to help with recording. Every Time I Die had the following to say on their Twitter.

"Matt Bronx dropping by the studio today to help make this record greater/funnier/partier. [...] Vocals are completely done. Matt of Bronx fame killed it."

Ace Enders addresses Early November reunion rumors

Alternative Press - Scott Heisel on 6/12/09 @ 4:25 PM - altpress.com

Ever since an off-the-cuff comment on drummer Jeff Kummer's Twitter account last week, rumors have been swirling about the possibility of the Early November reuniting. Former TEN frontman Ace Enders, currently supporting his solo album When I Hit The Ground, has released a statement regarding those rumors, as well as discussing an upcoming EP he's working on. Instead of trying to sum it up, we'll just let him take it away.

"It seems like most of you understand now that Jeff's comment last week about the band getting back together wasn't true, but the responses I've seen got me thinking.  I appreciate how so many of you still care about the band.  It's really touching and I feel the same way that a lot of you do about the whole thing.

So I have an idea.  I'm going to be combining the old with the new from now on.  Serg and I will be on tour this summer playing a couple old TEN songs, I Can Make a Mess songs, and new AMDP songs full band with Jason and Will from A Million Different People.

It'll be a little different, but I started The Early November with an acoustic guitar, recording songs by myself in my parents' basement when I was 18.  It's almost ten years later and I'm still doing everything the same as I've always done it, just with different people, and not in my parents' basement.

You can call it whatever you want to call it.  The Early November, Ace Enders and A Million Different People, I Can Make a Mess Like Nobody's Business, or maybe Early Enders Make a Mess Like Nobody's Business (although that sounds like it could be a really bad Adult film).

I'm going to be releasing an EP for this tour and it won't be under one specific band name, it will be all of them.  There will be some brand new songs and I'll also be doing an acoustic version of one song from each of my bands.  I'd like to hear suggestions of which songs to do.  Maybe we'll do a chat or something in the next few days so we can all talk about it and decide together.

So if you're ready to get psyched, eat some bbq and rock out to some old, new and probably even newer songs then check out the tour dates and come out to a show.  If you haven't picked up my new record When I Hit the Ground, please take a minute to check it out so you can come out and sing along at the shows.

I really want to thank everyone who has shown support in the past and present.  I'm so excited to see all of you this summer!

Thanks,
Ace"
