Blink-182 shows in Cleveland and St. Louis in jeopardy

Alternative Press - Tim Karan on 9/1/09 @ 10:40 AM - altpress.com

Rumors are flying that Blink-182 will not be playing their scheduled shows tonight in Cleveland and tomorrow in St. Louis. The band didn't perform last night in Saratoga, New York, due to the death of their friend DJ AM Goldstein. Fans had the choice to either watch the remaining bands--Weezer, Taking Back Sunday and Chester French--or accept refunds at the door. If Blink do not go on, it's unclear if a similar policy will be implemented or if the concert will be canceled outright. As soon as we hear official word, we'll pass the news along to you.

Oh, okay. So they DID offer refunds. It was just unclear last night. I wonder if this has to do with more than the DJ AM thing.

they're afraid Final Destination is real and he's gonna come for Travis next. lmfao

Whatever is best for the band in this hard time for them. DJ AM was an extremely close friend to them and it's hurting them emotionally. I know when I lost my best friend I still haven't really gotten over it. So my support and prayers for Blink right now and for DJ AM's other friends and family.

enmarwen, that isn't funny. A close friend of theirs died in sad and difficult circumstances. How can you be so callous? I hope your best friend dies and you grieve so heavily that you can't even imagine doing the thing you love doing the most in the world.

baww bawww bawwwww. lrn2take a joke. If you can't laugh at Death, you're only afraid of him. If you're afraid of Death, you can't live. Obviously Barker's afraid of Death, so he can't live his life.
