Altpress Exclusive: Blink-182 shows in Cleveland and St. Louis canceled
Alternative Press - Tim Karan on 9/1/09 @ 3:12 PM - altpress.com
Earlier today, Taking Back Sunday guitarist Eddie Reyes posted to his Twitter account that he is at home in Sandusky, Ohio, and will not return to the tour until this Friday in Kansas City, further adding fuel to the rumor that the St. Louis date has also been canceled. While we've yet to receive an official, on-the-record confirmation, we're calling this one as canceled, too.
No word on refunds or possible rescheduling yet.

If I don't get a refund and a reschedule, I'm going to be outraged. But I can't imagine them not giving one, or even both. RIP DJ AM though, but I'm still salty about this.
AP has been known to leak false info...i swear if this ends up being a false statement I'm going to be PISSED
Steven, you might be thinking of a different AP. Trust me, if you see it here, it's legit.
well that may be true of now, not so much as of a few years ago. also you guys did release a story saying blink tickets were only going to be 20$? if i remember correctly. yea def. not the case, and that story was released after tickets were on sale. i'll believe this since there is no word being released as of yet proving otherwise
Nah, I got AltPress's back here. Friends that are into Blink told me that there WERE $20 tickets available, they were just the nosebleed seats like a mile from the stage. At first I was REALLY confused when they told me what they paid, since I had read the story. Also, the story may have come out after ticket sales, but there is such a thing as press time.
Let's not be bitter, plz. I trust AP.
@Steven: What we printed was what Mark Hoppus himself told me. He said tickets would cost $20. I have him on tape saying it. If they ended up adding different pricing tiers, there's nothing I can do about that. @ AlyssaV: Thanks for the backup!
hey, not trying to put down AP in the present. i'll trust this story since communication seems to be better these days. i'll believe this story until further proven otherwise. its just in the past i've known this magazine to post some things not completely true, no i'm not going to go to the point of calling out exactly what...but i'm sure they know. it seems that a lot has changed w/in the company and the magazine has been providing legitimate information for several years now. again, like i said...i trust this statement and am VERY upset...i've been waiting 5+ years to see blink and finally was getting the chance to see my idol (travis) now my dreams have been shattered.
No problem. And yeah, that's the other thing. It wasn't a news post, it was a quote in an article. If it ended up not being true, Hoppus would look like the douche, not your magazine.
Alright. I have had my tickets for the St. Louis date since May. All I have looked forward to for the past 4 months was seeing Blink 182. They seriously better reschedule. Yes, I understand that there was a death, and that is the main reason why they are not playing, but I am not the happiest person right now.
that's sad for St. Louis but hell yea for KC! i was hoping and praying that they would be back since Travis doesn't fly it would take a couple days to get from one of the country to the other.
I definitely got my ticket for $20. How much was yours because I got 2 for $40
