Brokencyde return trash talk to tourmate Buddy Neilsen

Nielsen has gone on record as saying:
"Yeah, I slam [Brokencyde] every night because in no way, shape or form do I back anything they do or say and I am embarrassed that kids these days are into it and am sad that kids these days are exposed to it. There is absolutely no substance whatsoever in their songs and no passion in anything they do. It is the musical equivalent of a snow cone, bland tasting frozen tap water loaded with sugar, yet colorful, that will give you a brain freeze, melt all over your hands leaving yourself dissatisfied and sticky. They seem like pretty harmless guys but if I don't voice my opinion on what I think about Brokencyde then I have no right to ever speak up about any other injustices to the music scene in the future. There are only going to be more Brokencydes in the coming months with Millionaires, Breath Carolina and countless other mindless white suburban hip-hop 'acts' popping up. I never thought Id say this but this new wave of horse shit makes me look back and not hate Atom and His Package because at least he was original. I know I am not going to change anything, there will still be 14 year old girls that like their colorful merch and there terrible club beats but if I can make one person at least question the authenticity and integrity of singing the words 'let's get freaky now, let's get fucking freaky now' then I think it is well worth the effort."
Brokencyde vocalist Mikl recently hit back in a press release:
"We wanted to send a special thank you to Buddy Nielson of Senses Fail for all the kind words he has been saying about Brokencyde on stage every night and in the press. It's kind of funny to hear his recent comments about us considering we're on tour with his band and helping them sell out venues in every city across the US. Thanks Buddy! We're extremely flattered that our music has the kind of impact on people that would move them on this big of a scale. There are so many bands in the scene right now that fly totally under the radar and blend in. Our goal from day one with this band has been to create something original and not look and sound like anyone or anything else."
Brokencyde also revealed that the title of their upcoming debut is I'm Not A Fan But The Kids Like It, which will be released June 16 on BreakSilence. To catch this volatile yet highly entertaining tour in action, check out the tour dates here.
If they are doing this tounge in cheek just to be able to tour and what not fine, but if they are serious about this in the sense Lil John is serious about his Crunk, I think they may need to get a talent check. Or at least a better haircut.
That's right Mikl. You guys don't look or sound like anyone or anything else because you guys look and sound like shit and no one is ruining the music scene more than you and your counterparts. Uddy's being a little strange IMO. He's on tour with this band but all he says is bad things about them? Yeah, they suck. But respect them dude.
It's complete garbage. I'm referring to Brokencyde. "Our goal from day one with this band has been to create something original and not look and sound like anyone or anything else." That's the biggest load of shit I've ever heard. They just sound like typical rap/crunk mixed with a fucking horrible screamo band. Even if they were 2 individual groups, they both would be fucking horrible. Buddy shouldn't respect these pieces of shit. They have no substance. The whole point of Brokencyde is to capitalize on the dance-pop sucess of bands like Cobra Starship and mix it with the hardcore sound that's also big right now. It's complete garbage.
I guess I agree with B. Neilson; Brokencyde does seem like the kind of band that isn't so passionate about their music. It really upsets me how bands are mainly into the music scene for the 'look' and not for the music.

It's so ironic that the comments by Buddy came out today because I was just talking to some friends about how sick I am of these stupid rap/crunk/dance whatever you want to call them bands. I honestly had never heard Brokencyde but it took under a minute on their myspace to hear how awful they are. When did this become music? There is no way they are trying to be original and create something that moves people. It is a joke. I was actually okay with Cobra Starship because they were somewhat unique but bands lie Brokencyde are ruining music. Millionaires is such a joke too. Stop playing this shitty music and give up. Buddy you rule for call them out.

BUDDY is and always has been a hero to me. senses fail could sell out those shows with out brokencyde or the other garbage band on that tour called hollywood undead. senses fail and haste the day are the only bands on that tour that hav worked hard for music and what they achived. FUCK BROKENCYDE!
