A Rocket To The Moon enter studio to record sophomore full-length

A Rocket To The Moon have begun recording their sopohmore full-length in Nashville with producer Mark Bright (Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts) with a 2012 release expected via Fueled By Ramen. The band had this to say about the new album:

"We've spent the last three years trying to out do ourselves. We've toured around the world, made friends, and written tons of songs along the way. For us as individuals, 2011 was a year full of joy and sadness, highs and lows. We were able to see things that most kids our age never get to see. Now, a new year is upon us, and though it's only one more page flipped on the ol' calendar, we like to think that it means more than that. We're saying goodbye to last year and welcoming 2012 with open arms. It's only a few days in, but we already know this year is going to be special for A Rocket to the Moon.

We're starting the year in one of our favorite cities (Nashville!), where we'll be recording our second album with legendary producer Mark Bright. We are excited, and we hope you are, too. We've grown and matured as people and musicians over the last three years, and we're happy that you have grown with us. The songs we've written for this album hold a special place in our hearts, and we hope they'll do the same for you. It's too early to tell what the rest of the year will bring, but we know that we will be having the time of our lives sharing these songs with you. One thing is for sure, you'll be seeing a lot of us."

ARTTM last released On Your Side in 2009.
