Influential indie rock band American Football—Mike Kinsella (Cap’n Jazz), Steve Lamos and Steve Holmes—have reunited and will be playing their first live shows in 15 years this fall. The band will play September 28 at the Pygmalion Festival in Champaign/Urbana, Illinois. On October 11, the band will then play a show at Webster Hall in New York City.
Tickets for both shows go on sale Friday, April 25, at the band’s official website. The band’s reunion shows will be preceded by the May 20 reissue of their self-titled 1999 release, which is available for pre-order now.
