Since a standard party just wouldn't cut it for our 25th anniversary, we're throwing the Alternative Press Magazine 25th Anniversary Art Show, celebrating not just 25 years of stuff we've collected at the AP Skyscraper, but also to celebrate past cover artists and influential visual artists in the scene.
From July 10 to 24, we'll be hosting a very special 25th Anniversary Art show at the Merry Karnowsky Gallery in Los Angeles showcasing AP memorabilia including concert posters and some of the first printed copies of AP. We'll also be exhibiting works created by a wealth of performers and artists including:
Tim Armstrong (Rancid)
Black Francis (Pixies)
Jordan Buckley (Every Time I Die)
Joby J. Ford ( The Bronx)
Colin Frangicetto (Circa Survive)
Camille Rose Garcia (The Real Minks)
John Baldwin Gourley (Portugal. The Man)
Anthony Green (Circa Survive)
Shawn Harris (Maniac/ex-the Matches)
Matt "Portland" Hay (Nora)

Travie McCoy (Gym Class Heroes)
Liz McGrath (Miss Derringer)
Marc "Porter" McKnight (Atreyu)
Tara McPherson
Andy "The Butcher" Mrotek (The Academy Is...)

Can't make it to the West Coast? We'll be hosting another gallery show later this year in New York City!
