Carlile, who parted ways with the band Of Mice & Men because of his battle with Marfan's Syndrome, a rare connective disorder, has been vocal about his faith since he was baptized last year. Last night, he told his full story via Twitter, starting with "It may not be "cool" to believe, it may not be popular, but the GOD of the entire universe loves you. Realizing this changed my entire life." Read his full Twitter speech below.

Carlile has hinted that his outspoken beliefs may have played a part in why he exited Of Mice & Men, saying "They weren't going to let me write what I wanted on next record."

We wish the best of health for Austin Carlile in his continuing battle with Marfan's Syndrome. Sound off in the comments below.
