Legendary second-wave emo outfit Braid have revealed that they will reunite next month to record a new 12-inch with producer J. Robbins (who also helmed the band's 1998 full-length, Frame And Canvas). Polyvinyl Records is expected to officially announce the news today, and the album is slated to drop this year. Frontman Bob Nanna said, "We thought it would be fun," but Nanna also indicated that the band don't plan to tour. Braid, who went their separate ways in 1999 briefly reunited in 2004 for a tour around the DVD release of their band documentary, Killing A Camera.
