Courtney Love’s been extra busy lately: She recently announced the reunion of Hole’s classic lineup, who last recorded together on 1998’s Celebrity Skin. She took part in Nirvana’s stellar induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. (Earlier this year, she even made an appearance in a Fall Out Boy music video.)
In other Love news, in a recent interview with the Quietus, talking about her writing process, she spoke less than favorably of Queens Of The Stone Age, calling their music “drudge” and saying that frontman Josh Homme can “play like, four notes on his bass and people take off their tops.” She then went on to say that she sets a higher bar for herself.

"What is your writing process like now?
CL: Well, you sit and you write like, Queens Of The Stone Age drudge for a month, and it's just not happening, and it's not happening - not that Queens Of The Stone Age suck, but people expect a lot more from me. Josh Homme can play like, four notes on his bass and people take off their tops, but I have a higher bar for whatever reason. It has to be just fucking really really good. So, then I started playing with Patty [Schemel] and Melissa [Auf der Maur] and Eric [Erlandson], just to see how that was, if we got anything killer happening."
