DragonForce reveal new lead singer

After nearly a year of searching, U.K. metal outfit DragonForce have found a replacement for vocalist ZP Theart, who parted ways with the band last March. The band have announced 23-year-old Marc Hudson as their new frontman. Born in Oxford, England, Hudson was chosen from thousands of video submissions and live auditions. "I'm really excited about being a part of the DragonForce family," says Hudson. "It's always been my dream to dedicate my life to making music. I'm going to bring all the power and emotion I can to the songs, and help make the killer new record the fans have been waiting for."

DragonForce have been working on the follow-up to 2008's Ultra Beatdown since early last year. The album is expected to be released in September.
