Altpress can exclusively reveal the official lineup for the 10-year anniversary of Hopeless Records' Take Action Tour, kicking off April 22 in Boston and running through May 22. Silverstein and Bayside will co-headline and they'll be joined by Polar Bear Club, the Swellers and Texas In July. The annual nationwide charity tour will circle the U.S. while raising funds and awareness for Sex, Etc., a national organization dedicated to providing and promoting comprehensive sex education to young people and the adults who teach them. Ten percent of each ticket purchased goes to Sex, Etc., and Sub City 501 c3 nonprofits.

Hopeless Records president Louis Posen says, "Sex is a hot topic amongst Take Action bands and fans but rarely communicated in an honest and accurate way. Either don't do it or do it right!"

The Take Action Tour kicked off in 1999 with a commitment to helping make a positive impact in the community. Many of the bands from the tour will be making special appearances at local Hot Topic locations throughout the tour. Dates for this year's installment will be announced soon.

What do you think of this year's lineup?
